Barley salad
Ingredients
Cooked Pearl Barley
Red Apple
Cucumber
Walnuts
Pomegranate Seeds
Olive oil
Pomegranate Sauce (also called pomegranate molasses)
Method
Cook barley according to instructions on a packaging. Make sure it has cooled down before using in the salad.
Cut apples and cucumber into small cubes (0.5cm x 0.5cm)
Crush walnuts in pestle and mortar.
Mix all salad ingredients together. Drizzle olive oil and pomegranate sauce on top.
